Welcome to the Australian home of the Hippy Hippy Snap! A trim, hip snapping nappy. With the slim line look, and no wing droop of a side snap, but without the fight trying to get it on baby! The HHS fastens towards the front like a front fastening nappy.

I am a licensed Hippy Hippy Snap seamstress. This pattern has been tried, tested and loved by hundreds of babies... go on, why don't you give one a go?

Email me at pam@ ikiscloth.com.au (no spaces) for custom orders.

I am also an approved Fattycakes seamstress!

A new product in the ikis cloth range!

Tear drop shaped breast pads! These nursing pads are contoured, to help them stay in place, and make them almost invisible under your clothing! Now the leaky breastfeeding mumma can wear form fitting tops again, without the tell-tale breast pad 'halo'. The teardrop shape also means they are more absorbent!

I am going to give away one free set of breast pads to the person who comes up with the best (either most entertaining or most catchy) name for these breast pads. Comment away! Winner will be chosen in two weeks.

Cloth pad rainbow

Well, sort of! This is part 1 of a cloth pad order. These are post partum pads made with the Kiki pads pattern.

These will catch any night time flow or post partum flow - they are very generous in the front and back coverage, but with a nice contoured shape for comfort. They measure 32cm in length!

Hoot hoot, cluck cluck

This cute little set is a gift for my lovely friend Nicky. Those that know me, know that I am addicted to sewing patterns - well, napppy patterns to be exact- and I get bored of sewing the same things! For this reason I didn't make her a NB Hippy Hippy Snap or Fattycakes (although I have some ideas in the works!) This little newborn nappy was made from the Chloe Toes Pattern. I really love it for the smaller sizes - it's so fast to sew, has really clean lines and a fantastic fit - a little belly scoop that is lightly elasticised, higher in the back (great for preventing nb poo blowouts) and the front snaps are angled to give a great fit at the legs at any snap setting.

This was the last of my blue owl fabric :( I just love it.. although I do have some scraps I'll be giving to Nicky so she can make a gorgeous small nicnap to match the singlet!

Hoot Hoot: the fabric
Cluck Cluck: me at the teeny tiny cuteness of the little nappy.

Jumping on the Facebook fan page bandwagon...

I finally managed to figure out how to set up a fan page on Facebook! I published it on Sunday, and by Wednesday had 150 fans! Yay for social networking!

So, if you haven't already, fan me on facebook. There will be speciual offers, sneak peaks and more only available to facebook fans, so if you 'do' facebook, fan me and suggest the ikis cloth page to friends!

Okay, I must go finish some cutting and sewing - it's my SIL's baby shower on Saturday and I have to get a bunch of nappies finished to give her! I am so excited, she's decided to use cloth this time round, and is having a little girl, so I get to make all girly fluff and will have a nb in a few months that I can test out new designs on in the flesh! *cluck cluck*

4 Little Fattycakes

4 Little Fattycakes! One medium All in Two (top right), two medium pockets (brown and black) and a small All in Two (zebra).

I am so sad that I couldn't get a decent photo of these, they look lovely in person! My poor, poor camera fell victim to my two year old and sweet and sour sauce :( I have asked santa for a new camera (and sewing machine) for Christmas, so we'll see if I've been naughty or nice!
